Samsung has recently introduced the ITFIT UV Sterilizer in selected markets throughout the world including our neighbours Singapore and Thailand. It was then spotted on our own SIRIM database but till now, Samsung has yet to reveal further information regarding the availability of the device in Malaysia.
However, in the middle of Galaxy Unpacked pandemonium last night which include the debut of five new Galaxy devices, we have noticed that the ITFIT UV Sterilizer has appeared on Samsung Malaysia’s website. Not only that, the site also showed the price tag for the device which turns out to be RM 299.
In case you are not familiar with the device, the ITFIT UV Sterilizer is a rather nifty box which allows users to sterilize and charge their device at the same time. Of course, the device must support Qi wireless charging standard in order to utilize the charging feature but don’t worry, the sterilizer supports both Android and iOS devices.
Samsung also said that the sterilizer is large enough to even fit phones as big as Galaxy S20 Ultra. We have reached out to the company to obtain more information regarding the sterilizer’s release date in Malaysia, so we will keep you updated once we have that details in our hands.
