    Kuching police calls for ehailing community to help search for missing man

    Sim Tan Pheng was reported missing around 4pm after leaving his home in Tabuan Jaya on Friday.

    KUCHING (June 5): Kuching District police chief ACP Ahsmon Bajah is calling the ehailing community here like Grab and Foodpanda to help look for Sim Tan Pheng who was reported missing yesterday.

    At the same time, he said, the police were also intensifying their search Sim, who went missing around 4pm after leaving his home at Lorong Bayor Bukit 22 in Tabuan Jaya.

    “We also call the generosity of all ehailing community like Grab, Foodpanda to join on this search, let us all help this family,” said Ahsmon when contacted today.

    He said the victim is about 162cm tall and was last seen to be wearing grey pants.

    The victim’s family believes that Sim has gone out on himself for a walk around the neighbourhood and has failed to return home.

    The victim’s wife, yesterday told The Borneo Post that her husband would normally take a 20 to 30-minute walk and would return home after.

    It was also revealed that the victim suffers from Parkinson’s disease and is feared to be losing immobility when his medications starts to wear off.

    “Should the family or anyone have information please call the police personnel incharge at the Tabuan Jaya police station, SM Hadani at 013-8113408,” Ahsmon added.
