KUCHING (July 3): Bintulu Development Authority (BDA) has contributed RM1 million to the State Disaster Fund.
In a statement by the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) yesterday, the contribution was received by Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg at a simple ceremony held in his office here yesterday.
BDA Board of Directors deputy chairman Haidar Khan Asghar Khan accompanied their general manager Muhammad Yakub Kari to hand over the cheque to Abang Johari.
The contribution was part of BDA’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) in assisting the state government in managing the Covid-19 pandemic.
