Welfare Dept asking public to help trace girl’s birth parents

MIRI (July 9): The Welfare Department (JKM) here is appealing to the public to help trace a teenage girl’s birth parents or next of kin.

Ronny Pada, 17, is believed to have an adoptive Kelabit mother named Noraini Abdullah @ Paula Ngebora.

The last time she had contact with her adoptive mother was in 2019.

A press statement issued by JKM yesterday said efforts to trace the Ronny’s birth parents or next of kin is to enable the department to carry out the teenager’s documentation process.

It added the girl has no information regarding her birth parents.

Those with information on Ronny’s birth parents or next of kin can contact JKM officer Dayang Azeeyani Mohd Seri on 085-419072.
