Kuching man dies after car skids, crashes into tree

KUCHING (March 25): A 21-year-old man died after his car skidded and crashed into a roadside tree near a petrol station at Jalan Keruing here at 9.50am today.

According to sources, the deceased, who is from Mile 13, was heading towards the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching when he skidded off the road.

At the scene, the deceased was extricated from the damaged vehicle by the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) personnel from the Tabuan Jaya fire station.

He was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics called to the scene.

The deceased’s body was later handed over to the police to be transported to the Sarawak General Hospital’s forensics department for further action.
