Forty vehicles destroyed in a fire at a vehicle boneyard in Papar.
PAPAR (April 14): A fire destroyed 40 vehicles at a vehicle boneyard at Mile 1 in Papar on Thursday.
A spokesperson from the State Fire and Rescue Department said the Papar fire and rescue station dispatched teams to the location after receiving a distress call at 2.59pm.
Fire and rescue personnel controlled the flame by 3.08pm.
No untoward incident was reported and the cause of the fire is still under investigation, said the spokesperson.
