    St Teresa’s Catholic Church in Sibu to reopen for Mass on July 11

    SIBU: St Teresa’s Catholic Church at Teng Chin Chua Road is reopening for Mass next weekend on July 11.

    In a statement today, the church said it would only accept 100 parishioners at a time during Mass for now.

    Catholics who wish to attend Mass may contact the parish at 084-345495 to register during office hours.

    The church’s office hours are from 9am to 6pm from Tuesday to Friday. The office will be closed for lunch from 1pm to 2pm.

    On Sunday, the working hours are from 8am to  11.30am.

    Those who are sick or have other illnesses such as high or low blood pressure, diabetes, cancer and so forth and children below 12-years-old will not be allowed to attend.

    The first Mass to be celebrated is scheduled to be held on Saturday at 7pm (Sunset Mass), followed by Sunday Mass at 8am on Sunday.

    Daily Mass at 6am during weekdays will also commence thereafter.

    St Teresa’s Church only serves Chinese language Masses.
